Yuri Hudak grew up on a small produce farm amongst the beautiful rolling hills of Vermont. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Vermont. He went on to receive a Master of Science degree in M.E. from the University of Washington, where he focused on biomechanics and medical device development. Yuri is currently working on his Engineering Doctorate at TU Eindhoven in the Netherlands. 


Yuri is a lifelong skier and soccer player, and enjoys making and eating almost any kind of food. He is passionate about innovating in two main areas: the application of wearable sensing and assistive devices for a healthier and more mobile world, and the development of intelligent small-scale agricultural innovations for more sustainable local food systems.
